I would like to know what inspired such a soulful song. When on listens to the lyrics it sounds like a tribute to a very dear friend who has moved away, but leaves very funny and personal memories. It is by far one of my favorite songs recorded by this amazing singer and songwriter and last but certainly not least perfomer.

Do I do this again? Do I once again poor my heart out and beg for your return (for my own selfish reasons)? Yes, yes....... I do! I need your beauty, your grace and your immeasurable gift to fill my heart and soul again. I have posted a comment on a site called Bluesblogger.com and it even now doesn't seem to touch the depth of how much I am so very grateful for your having blessed us (me) with so many wonderful songs that have over the years meant so many things.
You may never know, but you were there for me through not only matters of the heart, but true pain and tragedy and many happy and beautiful times as well. As I watched those I loved die, you were By My Side. When I was crying out for love, there you were holding me with No Ordinary Love. When I was diagnosed with something incurable that caused me to have many strokes and sung King of Sorrow quietly to myself, I can still go on knowing that one day you will sing to my heart a new song. One that will speak to me as many volumes as your past work.... revealing to me perhaps another layer of myself that I knew not existed. As I laid on the beach in Key West watching the sunset, you gave me the Kiss of Life. As most of your fans, I can not possibly explain why I love you so much but that you have given of yourself to me and that you have been there for me when I felt no one in the world cared....but somehow you did. And for your love, in song, playing in my ear, I have lived a blessed life having heard an angel...... and Sade, that angel is you.
With rumors of a new collection of songs from you making their way to the internet, I am hopeful that perhaps...... just maybe, one day I will live long enough to bask in your presense, your beauty and your gift if but just one more time in my life. I have always loved your music, never had the opportunity to see you.....hearing of a new CD brings much excitement hoping to see you in concert in Los Angeles, CA. All of your fans are patiently waiting, keeping you in their hearts as they listen to your music.
just fell in love wit SADE AGAIN after 20 years. I a solo mum born in london, giving my daughter an enriched childhood in NZ. listening to SADE and teaching lyrics. My dream is to make a film, a bit like Thelma and Louise.. but wit 2 white boring, 40 yr old housewives, on road trip from north island to far south, my script has some numerous and crazy funny moments, including finding a bag of cash and weed, we then get chased by the Hells Angels and end up in Stewart Island(South Pacific, Close To South Pole). Only to be saved by the piano playing, Pinot loving( We get to learn how to vint our own wine, using the abundance of fruit available) two gorgoeous women crazy for adventure. All to the theme tune of SADE'S "Why cant we live together" Any one in?
